DTC Botswana hosts a Safeguarding & Anti-Doping Workshop
As part of its commitment to fostering a safe and fair sporting environment, DTC Botswana in partnership with Botswana Football Association recently held a Safeguarding and Anti-Doping workshop. This workshop was specifically designed for the top four teams that qualified for the 2024 DTC Botswana Women Football Championship.
The session, which took place prior to the tournament’s kickoff, was aimed at educating and preparing the teams on vital issues related to player safety and the importance of maintaining a doping-free competition. This initiative underscores DTC Botswana’s dedication to upholding the highest standards of integrity and well-being in women’s football.
In addition to the workshop, the participating teams were also provided with new playing kits and soccer boots to ensure they were well-equipped for their matches.
